KEY
Snaefellsness Peninsula: This spectacular part of Iceland, which encapsulates the magic and attraction of the whole country, is dominated by Snaefellsjokull glacier. There, according to tradition, mystical forces are at play. This glacier is the entrance to Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth.

An inner and outer journey: renew body and spirit in the land where the earth itself bubbles with primal energy.
Since this trip will take place during the summer solstice, we will have the unique opportunity to experience the famous "midnight sun", days where the sun never sets.
Group departs directly from airport to Reykjanes campsite; sets up camp. Relaxing and rejuvenating bathing in the mineral rich hot spring pools of the famous Blue Lagoon.
We will hike through lava fields of the diverse and unique geothermal region of Reykjanes peninsula.
Unusual landscapes and broad vistas greet us for day hikes and longer hikes where we will camp in deserted meadows and lava fields.
Group & individual activities will increase our appreciation of this unique wilderness.
Activities include: walking meditations, group and individual creativity time, mini "vision quest" (time spent alone in nature).
In our own van, we will visit Snaefellsness peninsula, World Peace Community, and the Snaefellsness glacier.
Day trip via ferry to historical Flatey Island.
A visit to Gullfoss "the golden waterfall", Geysir geothermal park, and Thingvellir, "parliament plain", where the oldest national parliament was founded, in 930 AD.
By van to Reykjavik where we will spend the day sightseeing, shopping for unique Icelandic crafts, relaxing in outdoor pools & hot tubs heated by local hot springs.
Departure. (Participants may stay longer and visit on their own).

The Blue Lagoon is a unique wonder of nature, a pool of pure mineral-rich geothermal seawater in the middle of a lava field.
Nearby cliffs are home to large colonies of birds. Whales can also be spotted in the bay.

What makes our adventure trips unique?
An old concept renewed: the vision quest; our trips blend tourism and questing ("tourism of the spirit"). We help you discover your hidden strengths, creativity and joie de vivre, discovering ways to live more serenely.
Meeting nature's challenges with support helps us grow in self-awareness and confidence. Connecting your outdoor experience and your "daily life" will provide new insights.
Not a "survival course", but a gentle and empowering relationship with the earth and others; joining together in exploration, excitement, and laughter.
We practice leaving the earth as healthy as when we found it, and support vital connections with the cultures we visit.
